CARBON REDUCTION STRATEGIES FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS

As part of a Visual Presentation class for my Bachelor of Interior Design (Yorkville University), an infographic about a topic of our choice had to be made. I selected "Embodied Carbon" for two reasons:

I aim to use design as a tool to educate and combat environmental degradation when possible
-
The topic was particularly relevant because for my job at the time, I was part of a team procuring and integrating One Click LCA software

A softer, warm palette was chosen to shake loose of the overused Green or Blues typically associated with sustainability and "green initiatives". The warm tones were a nod towards global warming, while the desaturated greys and purples were reminiscent of smog/chemical pollutants.
